Materials: re-purposed chair, neckties, game pieces, paint, casters
Inspiration: This old chair had been in the family of a good friend for decades before she off-loaded it to me. It was so old that the legs were noticeably short from wear. A couple of uninspired efforts to upholster it finally made me realize that a more drastic makeover was in order. I painted it, added vintage game pieces, upholstered it with thrifted neckties, and added casters to create a much less serious version of this venerable old piece. Fully functional as a chair, but should not be subject to hard wear.
